Table with most available firmware variants, roughly ordered by development date.
Grayed entries indicate devices not in production anymore, and/or not actively supported by the recent programming tools.
Technical datasheets may be found on the 'MKT-CD' (available online).

Note: This table is for information only and without responsibility. It refers to the latest available firmware, and is subject to change without notice. Some links will only work if this document is viewed as part of the Terminal Programming Tool's help system. Some features will only work if they are unlocked .

(1) Who is "CATIE" ?
CATIE = acronym for "CAn Terminal for Industrial Environment" (Akronym für "CAn-Terminal für Industriellen Einsatz").
Designed for front-panel mount, robust metal housing, more rugged than the older UPT515 plastic foil cover.
(2) This is an OEM name. The users of these terminals will know what we are talking about ;-)
(3) Devices with memory sizes labelled "up to" use a new, flexible data storage since 2009-08.
For these devices, the maximum number of pages depends on the complexity of the display page definitions.
In this case, it is impossible to say "the memory will always be large enough for 255 display pages" - it's only up to 255 pages !
To adapt an 'old' application for the 'new' firmware (with flexible storage), select Options ... LCD Settings / Device Selection in the programming tool's main menu, and select the hardware again.
(4) Also sold under various different names / brands !
Check the firmware article number in the terminal's system menu to find out which hardware is actually used in your display .
(5) CANopen-Slave with "Monster-OD":
Some devices with a 32-Bit-CPU and CANopen V4 contain a very large object dictionary, with up to 40 variables per CANopen data type, which means a total of  9 * 40 variables in the OD. Some of them can be mapped into PDOs (except the string variables). Older devices, and all devices with 8- or 16-bit CPU, only support a maximum of 10 variables per data type - which should be sufficient for most display applications.
There is an extra EDS file available for devices with the 'Monster OD'.
(6) Keyboards with cursor block design 'Nut-Slice':
What used to be 'function keys' (F1..F4) around the display in other devices, have become the four 'nut slices' at the outer corners around the cursor block (regardless of their labels, which may be customer specific):

CATIE = Akronym für "CAn Terminal for Industrial Environment" ("CAn-Terminal für Industriellen Einsatz").
